Found this adorable picture on Flickr someone took of me giving a big free hug to a group of SXSWers at SXSW 2012/last year!
Do you ever have those days when you just feel like you’re in a funk? You just can’t shake those heavy, sinking feelings? Maybe you’re feeling stressed, empty, scared or stuck. In essence, you just don’t feel like yourself.
As a way to improve mental health in Canada, Blok Design worked with Partners for Mental Health to come up with a way to draw people into a conversation, encouraging an open dialogue. Using bright colors that represented a spectrum of moods, they got people on the street to, literally, wear their emotions on their sleeves.
What a great idea for you to reflect on your emotions.
Xylina and I got teary eyed during this! Chris Hardwick knew the right thing to say
At the Man of Steel panel, this fan came up to the mic to ask Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill a question and starting tearing from happiness after seeing the trailer. Chris Hardwick, who was moderating, immediately ran down from the stage to the microphone to hug him and tell him that Comic-Con is all about fans that care like him and to give him moral support during his question.
Moments like this are what Comic-Con’s about!
I live for stories like that. I cried.
The Security Footage You Don’t See
I’m the, “music addict” and “lots of crazy people.” lol This made me smile.
Gave free hugs at UT today. Had a good time. Hugged a red ball for channelAustin and might be in a promo for them. Also hugged the shih out of this adorable shih tzu who was hanging out at the Longhorn Pets Alive table.
This girl named Sara(h) talked to me for a bit after I hugged her. After we talked for a little bit, she said, “This may sound weird, but I can feel God’s love through you right now.”
I don’t believe in any gods or religions, but I can definitely appreciate the beauty in what she said and it did make me feel good. :)
So much happy in this picture.
This man had gained my respect in once easy swoop. This video warms the heart
The truest of true loves.
THIS IS SO EFFING ADORABLE OMFG.
This Is Just Great of the Day: Appearing in the latest Target circular is 6-year-old Ryan: A happy, gregarious, photogenic rising star in the world of child modeling — who happens to have Down syndrome.
Ryan has also appeared in a recent Nordstrom catalog among other clothing ads.
On the Daddyblog of a father whose child also has Down syndrome, Ryan’s mother writes:
The whole process of modeling is an extreme confidance booster for him. He received so much warmth and caring from the Nordstrom crew that he thought they were there just for him! We are honored that Ryan is making the Down syndrome community proud. He is a beautiful boy inside and out. He makes us better parents, and a better family.
I love equal opportunities. :)
awwww, lololol <3
Chihuahuas and I have a love/hate relationship. I’m loving this one.
All the little boy was going to ask Santa for was his father to come back from Iraq. Little did he know, his wish would come true and his father was right behind Santa.
You don’t even have to read anything to know what’s going on. FUUUUUUUUUUUU /dies
